Telecoms Smart Communications, Inc.; Sun Cellular; and rival Globe Telecom on Friday announced that they were extending their mobile data service promotions.
In a press release on Friday, Globe Telecom announced the return of its Free Facebook offer for postpaid, prepaid and TM subscribers, which it will roll out from Friday to Sunday.
Globe's offer provides subscribers access the social networking site whith "no restrictions on the megabyte (MB) allocation per day," and with no maintaining balance needed.
Meanwhile, Smart Communications, Inc. and Sun Cellular announced that they were "expanding" their free Internet offer to their postpaid and broadband subscribers, with the promo extended to January 5, 2015.
Last September 26, Pangilinan announced that subscribers would get 30MB of free data access per day until November 30 as part of its "initial offering" to the public.
Globe Communications, meantime, said that they were "working on" their customer's "digital preferences and lifestyles."
